This was a fabulous book that shows us how easy it is to judge someone. We travel with an ordinary girl to the king’s palace, where with her amazing voice she sings for the king, his new bride, and the prince. All of the royal court is surprised to find that the girl with the beautiful voice is really quite ugly. While in court, the girl finds that everyone has a secret and no one is as perfect as they seem. We watch her fall in love, fall into a trap, fall into darkness, and fall into paradise.

This book is filled with surprises, touching moments, and an awesome plot. If you love castles, fantasy, princes, and princesses, this book is for you.
