At the meeting on Wed. 1/14, we discussed the possibility of writing more short stories. Maybe if we do, we could post them online? Personally, I nominate the one Adam shared with us (starring us) about a year ago, along with Ian’s spin-off about George.
I would offer to publish some of mine, too, except my stories do not usually qualify as short. 17 pages? I don’t think so.
So yeah.
So who put up photos of Southworth in the snow? They’re very pretty, whoever you are!

What would you do if you were (a) packed off to Las Vegas with your Evil Hench Cousin Alyson and her Evil Hench Twin Veronique, your overprotective father, and his perky girlfriend, Sherri!; (b) attacked by a mad cat while lounging by the pool; (c) saved from hotel expulsion by a deliciously scandalous model/yogi/former kindergarten teacher; (d) in possession of some seriously… unique best friends; (e) falling in love with a British snack-shack/bodyguard/confusing hottie; (f) arrested twice; (g) caught up in a murder mystery; (h) learning sixty Little Life Lessons in five days; and (i) definitely not a Model Daughter?
Well, if you’re Jas Callihan…
Blame the cat.

This is the sequel to the book Troll Fell. This book tells us about an orphan boy and how even though he has a home, he never really feels at home. This book takes you on a wild story of how our main character, Peer, searches for his true place among the town. We watch Peer struggle through many difficulties and then we see him soar when he achieves what he dreamed of. In this book, he overcomes all of his fears, proves himself to many, and still finds time for some romance. =)
This book covers all sorts of genres from romance to adventure. There is something around every corner and the book never fails to surprise you no matter what.

This was a fabulous book that shows us how easy it is to judge someone. We travel with an ordinary girl to the king’s palace, where with her amazing voice she sings for the king, his new bride, and the prince. All of the royal court is surprised to find that the girl with the beautiful voice is really quite ugly. While in court, the girl finds that everyone has a secret and no one is as perfect as they seem. We watch her fall in love, fall into a trap, fall into darkness, and fall into paradise.
This book is filled with surprises, touching moments, and an awesome plot. If you love castles, fantasy, princes, and princesses, this book is for you.

Ashbury High and Brookfield High have always been rival schools. So what is Emily, Cass, and Lydia’s English teacher thinking when he begins a penpal project between the schools?
As luck would have it (or wouldn’t have it), the three girls end up with Charlie, Seb, and Matthew for penpals. Emily and Charlie don’t get along at first, but eventually they are going on “practice dates” to prepare for romance. Seb and Lydia are the perfect match- an artist and an author. Cass begins writing to Matthew- but is it really him?
The “Joy of the Envelope” project that no one wanted to start is definitely going to end wth a bang.

The Nazis have captured Roberto and taken him far away from his home in Venice, Italy. And it seems to him that every time he makes a friend, soemthing horrible goes wrong and the friend dies. It seems that wherever death goes, Roberto is somehow there. We follow him on a touching journey, where along the way his friends do give up their lives for the sake of others. He wants nothing to do with the war and yet he always finds himself in the middle of the battle. With thrills around every corner and a touching and inspiring story, this book is one you must read.

The whole book is basically creepy. The setting is even weird. In a valley after a nuclear war, a girl must survive. She meets the only other human possibly on Earth and they must join forces to beat the odds. Will the two agree with each other and stay calm? Will the human race go on? You must read to get these questions answered and discover the wowing events that take place.
It is a pretty good book with an ending that requires someone willing to understand meaning. The ending is also similar to the ending of The Giver, sort of.

This book was very good. It was the story about the famous Mutiny of the Bounty, told by the daughter or Fletcher Christian. She is sent to a boarding school in London where there are rumors of her father appearing. Will she find him? And if she does find him, will it really be him or an imposter? This describes her adventures in London and how she deals with her problems.
